Gearing Up For The Ray White Lara FUN RUN

By Rebecca Pierce

This years Ray White Lara Fun Run is being held on November 2nd and again, is being held at the historical “Pirra Homestead” on Windermere Road. So far this year, there are a lot more entries than this time last year so it’s set to be even bigger and better than ever!

The events start at 8.30am with a quick warm up to get the blood moving, before taking you on scenic journey through Serendip Sanctuary on your choice of either a 10 km run, 5 km run,  5 km walk – and the kids aren’t forgotten with a 1.5km “Kids Dash” before the main event kicks off.

The Lara Fun Run / Walk is a family focused event where everyone can participate.  The Lara Fun Run aims to provide a great value, healthy, enjoyable experience for everyone, whilst at the same time helping local community groups raise much needed funds.

All funds raised are put back into the community helping schools, community groups and public facilities. Its a fantastic, fun-filled family day where everyone can participate, meet up with new and old friends and enjoy the good weather (fingers crossed!). Even better, groups of 3 or more can enjoy 15% off the cost of online registration.

You can register via the link below and pick up your numbers from 2 different locations prior to the event – check the website for details!
