A cold and wet Sunday on November 3rd set the scene for this year’s Lara Fun Run, but this didn’t deter contestants who turned up in droves to compete in this focused event where everyone can participate. The event starts and finishes at the beautifully renovated Pirra Mansion gardens. The course takes participants through Serendip Sanctuary amongst a spectacular bush setting and plenty of wildlife. The Lara Fun Run aims to provide a great value, healthy, enjoyable experience for everyone, whilst at the same time helping local community groups raise much needed funds. The team at Ray White Lara & Northern Suburbs were there providing support for the contestants and cheering them on as they raced for the finish line. Many of our team also competed and finished quite impressively.
The overall winner was Scott Nicholas with a time of 00:16:11. Well done to Scott.
