January 2020 Wrap Up

2020 has started with a bang here at Ray White Lara with all departments kicking off the year with strong activity. Our results have been positive, despite being a short month, with plenty of action around new listings in both the property management and sales spaces.

Our property management team kicked things off well this year leasing 22 properties out of 158 open for inspections. Our vacancy rate is sitting at 0.48% and our average days on market just 14 days, meaning we are leasing properties quite quickly compared to the industry average of 34 days. We have also had an influx of tenants enquiring on our listings and the quality of applications has been good, providing for more competition on the available properties. We also had 11 new properties come to market for sale, with our first auctions for 2020 being launched. Overall we have had plenty of action on our sales properties, with over 160 groups attending our 39 open homes. We still have a diverse range of properties being prepared for sale so keep your eyes peeled for our new listings to hit the market. Looking ahead, we have our first In-Room Auction Night for the year at 6pm on Tuesday the 25th February, with another fantastic list of properties going to auction. We also have some great training events lined up, beginning with Ray White’s Unite Conference bringing together all the Victorian offices for another full day of learning.

With the holidays now behind us and the year well and truly in motion, the team is looking forward to seeing continuing positive results in the marketplace, and achieving some fantastic results for our clients.
