March 2020 Wrap Up

By Stephanie Scacco

Well what a month! We are undoubtedly in one of the most fast paced and ever evolving periods the office has seen yet, with constant changes to our industry and regular daily lives still very much occurring. Every single person on our team has welcomed the transition to working remotely and implementation of additional technology to our existing processes with such professionalism and maturity, all whilst continuing to provide our clients with excellent service.

Not only that, the change in environment has provided us with a rare opportunity to strengthen our systems as we approach such an uncertain time and has unified us as a team.

During March we also welcomed 3 new team members to our Property Management department, Casey Anson and Makaila Faulkner as Property Management Associates, and Leah Collins as Property Investment Manager. We are so glad to have each of these ladies join our team and can’t wait to see each of them flourish in their new roles.

Despite the changing landscape and the challenges that COVID-19 has presented, our office managed to finish March off on a positive note and April is already off to a flying start. We are seeing such a positive response to our virtual inspections and digital application process in Property Management leasing 20 properties for the month. We are still receiving plenty of applications for our properties, processing over 15 in the last week of the month alone and are still seeing strong engagement from prospective tenants looking to move into the area.

Our sales team completed over 100 appraisals for clients and have a number of new properties coming to the market over the next few weeks. Buyers are still out in force and are embracing the different forms of technology we are now using to facilitate virtual inspections which is encouraging.

We are continuing to evolve and train and have had incredible support from our Corporate team including daily webinars, consistent communication and multiple training sessions to ensure we are well equipped with the knowledge to handle the current ongoing situation.

We don’t know what the future holds for Australia and how long it will take until we return to our normal routines. All we know is that with the backing of our Corporate team and the new technologies and processes we have transitioned to over the past couple of weeks, that we have all the tools and support necessary to continue to provide the exceptional real estate services that we have been providing for the past 12 years.

If anyone has any questions or requires support during such an unusual time, real estate or otherwise, please feel free to get in contact with us!
