We have had another fantastic month here at Ray White Lara with plenty of action happening in all departments in the office.
October saw our Sales team hold their first In-Room Auction Event at Millars Café in Lara, with 3 properties selling under the hammer and another property selling after successful negotiations. Thank you to Matthew Condon from Ray White Corporate for auctioneering the evening, Millers Café for hosting our event, and to our incredible vendors for allowing us to market their homes. We had so much fun that we have scheduled our next in-room event for the 3rd of December this year with another 6 properties going to auction.
October was an incredible month for our Leasing and Property Management team with an impressive 37 properties leased, 195 open homes held and 120 applications processed. With our vacancy rate still right down at 0.12% and our days on market at just 5 days, now is still a perfect time to get in touch with the team about securing tenants for your investment.
Our leaders Jo and Zac attended the Victorian Top 10 Business Leaders Retreat this month. Jo and Zac spent 3 days in sunny Noosa collaborating with some of the top Ray White businesses in Victoria and discussing all aspects of running a successful real estate office as well as exploring and learning about advancements in technology and processes to further enhance the office’s productivity. We are so excited to implement some key changes over the next twelve months in order to streamline our processes and give more value back to our amazing clients.
We also welcomed two new staff members to the team, Bradley Aquilina to the Property Management Team as our newest Property Manager, and Karen Brough to our Customer Care and Front of House team. Brad comes from a Property Management background with additional experience in sales working for a volume builder and brings with him a fresh energy to our Property Management department. With a strong background in customer service having worked with Virgin Airlines for 14 years, Karen brings with her a sound understanding and extensive experience in providing exceptional customer service. Welcome Brad and Karen!
As well as two additions to our team we also said goodbye to another with Tash our marketing superstar heading off on Maternity Leave, lasting just two days before her beautiful baby girl made her debut. Congratulations to Tash and Hubby, Nick, on the arrival of your beautiful daughter Delilah, we can’t wait to meet her!
